An Idea That Started It All
Back in Belgravia, at the now-famous Grenadier pub, INEOS Chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe had a simple idea — if no one else was going to build a proper, no-nonsense 4×4, then INEOS would.
What began as a sketch on the back of a £5 note — still pinned to the pub ceiling today — quickly turned into something much bigger: a mission to create a true utilitarian 4×4, engineered without compromise.

From day one, the vision was clear:
